The Director, Fundraising and Partnerships for Habitat for Humanity Africa will be a strategic leader responsible for raising the necessary resources including increased and diversified funding sources and relevant partners across the private sector, different levels of governments and multi-sector players to bring systemic changes to achieve the mission of Habitat in the region. The RD and Partnership will focus on major gifts prospects, corporates and donors in general while focusing on cultivating both local, national and regional fundraising opportunities. In addition, the position will provide guidance and support to the national organizations and partners to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies in close collaboration with Habitat for Humanity’s global fundraising teams, advocacy, and communications functions to amplify the impact of Habitat for Humanity’s initiatives in Africa. The Director will ensure that Habitat for Humanity Africa expands its reach and impact through strategic partnerships, a strong volunteer network, and advocacy for policy reforms that align with the organization’s mission of building homes and communities.
