Amref Health Africa in Kenya is seeking a visionary Country Director to lead the organisation’s ongoing evolution from programme implementer to system designer—co-creating people-centred primary health care systems and addressing the social determinants of health in partnership with communities and government. The Country Director will be accountable for executing Amref Health Africa in Kenya’s 2023–2030 Strategic Plan and Sustainability Framework, ensuring delivery of systemic impact, diversified revenue, and innovative financing. This is a senior leadership role responsible for championing digital transformation, embedding data science and AI, and positioning Amref as a thought leader in the Primary Health Care/Universal Health Coverage space. The job holder will report to the Board Chair of Amref Health Africa in Kenya, with a dotted line to the Group Programme Director (Amref HQ).
